1.Passport/Proof of Identity

Just like commercial flights, you should always carry a form of official ID. This could be your passport or another accepted means of official ID. Before your flight, crew will fill out the passenger manifest with your name on it. Therefore, before your flight you should proof your ID. If you fly an international flight, then you should carry your passport with you.

2.Valid Visa

If you fly to another country, you should check Visa policies in advance and obtain one if required. Like any other passenger, your visa will be checked before your admission into the country but in many airports there are designated check points for private jet charters. Therefore, you can easily pass checks without waiting at the airport.

3.Tickets

Unlike commercial flights, when you use private jet charters you don’t need to print any ticket or boarding pass. When you book your flight the gates will be informed before your arrival and all you need to do is just to show your ID and proceed to your flight. In many cases, your crew will meet at the airport and guide you through.

4.Airport Checks

In order to ensure safety, security checks are carried out like commercial passengers. Therefore your belongings and you are inspected. But these checkpoints are put in separate places to ensure the swiftness of the process.

5.The Arrival Time to the Airport

Usually, when you arrive at the airport 15 to 30 minutes before your flight, it will suffice. However, please bear in mind that each airport regulates different procedures. Therefore, you should keep an eye on your operators suggestions to avoid any confusion.

6.Pets

There is no restriction if you want to take your pet with you. But if you travel internationally, then you should check the welcoming country’s requirements. In some cases, you must vaccinate your pet and show related documents or carry a pet passport.
