The capital city of Ireland, Dublin is truly a fairytale city. Chosen repeatedly as the happiest city in the world, Dublin is the perfect mixture of history, culture and nature. Split by River Liffey, Dublin was the second biggest city in the United Kingdom till the 18th century and today offers historical splendors including churches, medieval castles and pubs.

Dublin also houses major European Companies as the tax scheme in the country is quite attractive. Therefore, the city is an important economic player in the global field, as well.

Dublin International Airport

Located only 10 kilometers north of the city centre, Dublin International Airport is the first step to get to Dublin. Received nearly 28.000.000 passengers in 2016, Dublin International is the major hub for Irish Aerlingus. The majority of flights in Dublin are short haul, but some long haul flights to North America and Middle East also exist. Dublin International Airport also offers preclearance service for the US passengers.

There are two terminal buildings at the airport, as Terminal 1 is dedicated to short haul flights and low-cost carriers. Long haul flights and flag carrier airlines operate in Terminal 2. The visitors who prefer to travel with private jet charters can use the facilities and services offered by two FBO’s based in the airport. There are two executive terminals, operated by each FBO’s separately, in which international passengers can clear all the customs and passport procedures.

Dublin has another airport, as well solely dedicated for general aviation flights. Weston Airport, located 15 kilometers west of Dublin, is open to all private jet charter flights. However, to fly to this airport, you should obey 24 or 48 hours for international passengers, notice policy. The passengers can find all exclusive services in Weston Airport, too.
