Leipzig-Halle Airport
Situated at the center of two Saxony cities; Halle and Leipzig, Halle-Leipzig airport is the 13th largest airport in Germany in terms of passenger density. Geographically located at the center of the country, the airport is the 2nd largest in Germany and the 5th largest in all Europe in terms of cargo freight.
Received nearly 2.5 million passengers in 2016, the airport is located away 20 kilometers both of the cities. There are two runways and a terminal building at the airport and general aviation flights are also welcomed.
There is a separate General Aviation Terminal, adjacent to terminal building which has a different entry. In this terminal building, all possible needs of private jet charters’ passengers are thought of including customs and passport controls, VIP lounges and restaurants. It is also possible to park for long terms as there are maintenance facilities as well. However, please bear in mind that this terminal building operates between 06.00 and 22.00 hours.

Unlike Leipzig-Halle, this airport is solely open for general aviation flights and is open 24 hours. International passengers can also plan to fly here as the customs and passport services are provided if notified in advance.
